Modi school which is a branch of Modi college itself is running very successfully and serving the mankind with the great purpose of imparting knowledge to the students and making there future bright. As today's youth is tomorrows future and it must be literate to know there duties as well as responsibilities, so to have the knowledge of all such things the students must be literate and well qualified. Modi School is progressing in this field by imparting good and valuable knowledge to the up coming youth of today Courses offered: Modi School is imparting the knowledge to the new entrants of the college life. The school is providing the basic and elementary education to the students those who seek admission in 10+1 and 10+2 class in all the streams whether it is of science or commerce.

As per the education policy of the Punjab Govt., classes XI and XII have been entirely shifted to the school. To cater to needs of the student population who wish study in the congenial in environments of Multani Mal Modi College, affiliation was obtained from Punjab School education Board Mohali to set up a co-educational school Rukmani Devi Modi Collegiate Senior Secondary school on the campus of the college from the session 2004-2005. The school has successfully completed three year. The aim of the school is to provide quality education, linking learning with good education and ensuring all around development of personality. A separate wing in the college building has been earmarked for the school. The school is also utilizing all its other infrastructural facilities like laboratories, library etc. Plans are afoot to construct a magnificent building for the school near the college and in near future, the school will have its own building with all modern amenities.

The school has been named in the sacred memory of a noble, pious and philanthropic lady, Shrimati Rukmani Devi Modi, wife of late Rai Bahadur Multani Mal Modi,and is being run by a Managing Committee consisting of eminent persons and headed by Seth Sudershan Kumar Modi.

As at present the school is housed in the college building and is availing its rich infrastructure, it is worth while to know a bit about this great institution of the region.

This multi-faculty co-educational institution with its modern and magnificent campus sprawling outside Sunami Gate near Polo Grounds, was established by the late Padam Bhushan, Rai Bhadur Seth Gujjar Mal Modi, a business magnate of India, in the fond memory of his illustrious father Rai Bhadur Seth Multani Mal Modi. Its foundation stone was laid by Dr Dharam Vira, ICS, the then Governor of Punjab on Sept.21,1966 and the first academic session commenced in July 1967. The college is owned and maintained by the magnanimous and enlightened Modi Education society. The progressive and enlightened Maneging Committee which runs the college comprises of eminent persons from various walks of life. It is headed by its Chairman, Seth Sudarshan Kumar Modi who is firmly committed to fulfilling the dreams and ideals of his illustrious grandfather.

Within a period of four decades, the college has developed into a centre of high quality education of practical relevance to the present and future needs of our rapidly changing society. The dedicated hard work put in by the Principal and the Faculty has earned for Modi College a place of pride among the pioneering institutions of the region.

Recently, the college has taken a leap into the new area of information technology and business management Due to the visionary and philanthropic zeal of our Chairman, Seth Sudarshan kumar Modi, a magnificent building, Seth HR Modi Centre of Computer Science and Business Management, adorns the college premises.

We also have the requisite infrastructure in the form of one the best libraries of the region, well equipped laboratories, competent and regular teaching faculty arrangements for indoor and outdoor games, co-curricular activities, NCC, NSS, departmental Clubs, hobbies, music and a friendly and congenial environment for all-around development of the personality of the students.
