Convocation
and Prize Distribution function was organized at The
Chief Guest gave away Roll of Honour to 17 students, College colours to 55
students and Merit Certificate to 196 students who excelled in Academics, Sports
and Co-curricular activities. The Chief Guest laid stress on vocationalization
and modernization of education. He also announced a grant of Rs. One Lac to the
college. A
big contingent of NCC Cadets led by Capt. V. P. Sharma a guard of Honour to the
Chief Guest. The
Principal Dr. S. K. Bhardwaj welcomed the guests and read out the Annual Report
of the College highlighting achievements in academics, Sports and Cocurricular
activities. Dr.
Dalbir Singh conferred 209 Degrees to the graduates of Arts, Science, Commerce,
Computer Application and Management stream. He exhorted the young graduates to
cultivate qualities of leadership through dreams, dedication, determination and
discipline. Colonel
Karminder Singh represented the Management of the College. A member of
Principals retired teachers and a large number of social and political
personalities including Sh. Anil Bajaj, Sh. Inder Mohan Singh Bajaj and Sh. I.
S. Grewal (D.P.P.O.) were also present. Prof. R. P. Gupta, Dr. Pawan Singla, Prof. Ajit Kumar and Mrs. Baljinder Kaur conducted the stage. Mrs. Yogesh Sharma, Vice Principal thanked the guests, teachers and the students. | ||||||||||||||||||
