            International Business Conference organized by the Faculty of Commerce and Management of M M Modi College, Patiala in collaboration with Punjab Commerce and Management Association concluded today which was presided over by Dr. K. K. Sharma, former Pro-Vice Chancellor, NEHU, Shillong. During his presidential remark he told that the fast evolving economic and political scenario has led to the emergence of new situations and these new situations demand new economic and political models. Here, the role of teacher cannot be over emphasized because they are the one who guide the young generation and enable them to cope up with the new situations.

            Mr. Dinkar Gupta, ADGP, Punjab and former student of the college presided over the felicitation session. He stressed upon the need to imbibe the ideal of firm determination which can lead to the achievement of higher goals. He also emphasized that the teaching community should be respected by the society because they are the one who show the way of the wise men. Dr. R. C. Bector (Menitoba University, Canada) Dr. Sanjeev Sharma (Panjab University), Sh. Hukum Chand Bansal (Chairman, RIMT), Dr. Pawan Kumar Singla (Controller, Examination, Punjabi University), Dr. S. S. Bhatia (Thapar University), Dr. Jasleen Kaur (Khalsa College, Patiala) and S. Manmohan Singh Marwaha (Principal, G.G.S.K.C, Chandigarh) were honourd during the function.

            Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar welcomed the guests and thanked the participants and the staff who made the conference a successful event.
