One-Day workshop on Intellectual Property Rights organized at M.M.Modi College, Patiala
M.M.Modi College, Patiala organized One-Day workshop on Intellectual Property Rights in collaboration with Consortium of Women Entrepreneurs of India (CWEI). Ms. Shashi Singh, Chairperson CWEI, presided over the function. She highlighted the role of CWEI for promoting women entrepreneurs to improve their social status through economic freedom. Vice Principal, Prof. Nirmal Singh welcomed the speakers and guests and told that role of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) is of great importance for bringing inclusive growth and regaining the lost glory of India as a major contributor in world GDP and International trade.
Mr. Shahood Alam from MSME DI, Ludhiana talked about the financial incentives available to MSME. Dr. S.D. Bhatnagar, Assistant Controller of Patents and Designs, Patent and Trademark Office, New Delhi stressed on the need of getting the innovations patented. Mr. Bharat, President, Patiala Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Balwinder Sooch, Dept. of Biotechnology, Punjabi University, Patiala also shared their experiences with the participants.
Dr. Ashwani Sharma conducted the stage and Dr. Kuldeep Kumar presented the vote of thanks.

ਅੱਜ ਏਥੇ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮਾਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਉਦਯੋਗਪਤੀ ਕਨਸੋਰਟੀਅਮ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਬੋਧਿਕ ਸੰਪਦਾ ਹੱਕ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਕਰਵਾਈ ।ਚੇਅਰਪਰਸਨ ਮਿਸ ਸ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਕੀਤੀ ।ਉਹਨਾ ਨੇ ਦਸਿਆ ਕੇ ਙਰੁਥਜ਼ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਅੋਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਛੋਟੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਵਾਈਸ ਪ੍ਰਿਸੀਪਲ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਜੀ ਆਇਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਸੋਨਚਿੜ੍ਹੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲਘੂ ਉਦਯੋਗਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਜਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸਾਹਊਦ ਆਲਮ ,ਨੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਉਦਯੋਗਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਦਿਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਲੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ । ਸ੍ਰੀ ਐਸ ਪੀ ਭਟਨਾਗਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆ ਕਾਢਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਟੈਂਟ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਜੋਰ ਦਿਤਾ। ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਚਂੈਬਰ ਆਫ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਇਓ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੇਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਤੋ ਆਏ ਡਾ y ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸੂਚ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਪੇਟੈਟੇਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਡਾ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਇਆ। ਡਾ. ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਮਤਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ।
