Online Language Quiz organized at M. M. Modi College
The Department of English, M. M. Modi College organised an online Language Quiz to assess the language analytical skills and usage of grammar by the students. The quiz was focused on components of grammar and their significance in english literature and communication. College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar emphasized the acquisition of grammatical skills for enhanced employment opportunities. Prof. Shailendra Sidhu, Dean Humanities motivated the students to write and speak the language in a correct and appropriate way. Around 500 students from all the streams participated in the quiz. The participants were supposed to attempt 25 questions in 30 minutes. The first position was won by Mr. Nakesh Mehmi of B. A.-II. Ms. Nandini Sharma of B.Sc. (N.M.)-II stood second while Ms. Vanshika of B.Sc.(Bio-Tech Hons.)-I bagged the third position. The quiz was co-ordinated by Prof. Vaneet Kaur and Dr. Harleen Kaur from the department of English.
