Lieutenant Sidhu felicitated at Modi College

 

The alumnus of Multani Mal Modi College and NCC cadet Navtej Singh Sidhu has been commissioned as a Lieutenant in the Indian Army. He was felicitated by Pricnipal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar and Prof. Ved Parkash Sharma, NCC Officer.

The Principal congratulated the cadet and stated that it was a great matter of pride for the college and the NCC.

It is noteworthy that another NCC cadet and alumnus of Modi College Guranhad Singh Sidhu got commissioned as well. The Principal expressed pride in both of them and hoped they will act as an inspiration to other students.

 

 

ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਕੈਡਿਟ ਨਵਤੇਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੈਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੱਜ ਕਾਲਜ ਪੁੱਜੇ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪੁੱਜਣ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਵੇਦ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਦੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਫ਼ਟੀਨੈਂਟ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਣਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕਬਾਦ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਲਈ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ।

ਇੱਥੇ ਇਹ ਵਰਨਣ ਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਕੈਡਿਟ ਗੁਰਅਨਹਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦੋ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਕਾਲਜ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੈਡਿਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਸ੍ਰੋਤ ਬਣਨਗੇ।
