Modi College bagged second position in Inter-Zonal Geographical Quiz
The team of three students from the Department of Geography, Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala bagged second position in Inter- zonal geographical quiz held at Government Mohindra College Patiala.
Principal Dr Khushvinder Kumar congratulated the students and encouraged them for participate in such activities.
In this event, nine teams from various colleges of Patiala zone participated. Dr. Dharam Singh, Registrar, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Open University, Patiala, was the chief guest.
First phase of this event first round was in the form of written quiz in which four teams qualified for the second phase. The team comprised of Ms Reetu Kumari (3447), Ms Harshita Pandhi (3309) and Mr Aniket Goyal (3434) of BA II class. The geography team bagged Second position in this quiz and brought laurels to our College.

ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਨੇ ਇੰਟਰ–ਜ਼ੋਨਲ ਜੌਗਰਫੀ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਜੀ ਪੁਜ਼ੀਸ਼ਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ
ਸਥਾਨਿਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਜੌਗਰਫੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਹਿੰਦਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਹੋਏ ਇੰਟਰ-ਜ਼ੋਨਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ.ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨੌਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਗਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਓਪਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਡਾ. ਧਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਰਾਊਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਤੀ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅਗਲੇ ਰਾਊਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ।ਇਸ ਟੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਸ ਰਿਤੂ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ (3447), ਮਿਸ ਹਰਸ਼ਿਤਾ (3309) ਤੇ ਮਿਸਟਰ ਅਨਿਕੇਤ ਗੋਇਲ (3434) ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ, ਬੀ.ਏ. ਭਾਗ ਦੂਜਾ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।
