Blood Donation Camp organized at Multani Mal Modi College
A Blood Donation Camp was held at local M. M. Modi College, Patiala to spread the message of ‘Khoondaan-Mahadaan’. The camp was organsied by the NSS and Scouts and Guides units of the College under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar and was supervised by a medical team from Govt. Rajindra Hospital, Patiala. The camp was inaugurated by college Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar. Addressing the blood donors, he said that these blood units are going to act as lifeline for many patients of dengue. He appreciated the efforts of students and college staff for making this camp a success. A team of doctors led by Dr. Amandeep and Sh. Sukhvinder Singh made meticulous arrangements for collecting donated blood. 57 units of blood were donated by the volunteers. The teachers of the College Dr. Rajeev Sharma, Dr. Ganesh Sethi and Dr. Harmohan Sharma also donated the blood and motivated the students.
