Online Quiz at Multani Mal Modi College to Mark Gandhi Jayanti
Multani Mal Modi College Patiala organized an online National level quiz competition to mark the Gandhi Jayanti and to make the students aware of the legacy and contribution of Mahatma in Indian Politics the guidance of college principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar and according to guidelines issued by State Organising Commissioner (Punjab) of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Sh. Onkar Singh.
The event was organized by the ‘Bharat Scouts and Guides’ wing of the college. College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar while remembering Mahatma Gandhi said that his Political ideology, teachings and truthful living can guide us in these difficult times of pandemic. He appreciated the activities and programmes of ‘Bharat Scouts and Guides Wing’ and motivated the college students to learn from the Gandhian philosophy of Non-violence, mutual co-existence and social service along with leadership qualities. Dr. Rupinder Singh, Incharge, Rover Scouts leader and Dr. Veenu Jain, Incharge, Ranger Scouts leader told that the success of this event is enough to prove that students are participating constructively in the social service activities and are feeling attached to the Mahatma of the nation. They also told that e-certificates will be distributed to the participants. The event was technically managed by Dr. Rohit Sachdeva. In this event 183 participants from educational institutes of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh participated.

ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ‘ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਕਾਊਟਸ ਐਂਡ ਗਾਈਡਜ਼’ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਲੋਂ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਜੈਅੰਤੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਅਵਸਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦਾ ‘ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ’ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸੁਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਕਾਊਟ ਗਾਈਡਜ਼ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਇਕਾਈ ਦੇ ਸਟੇਟ ਆਰਗੇਨਾਈਜ਼ਿੰਗ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ੍ਰ. ਉਂਕਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਇਸ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ,ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਸਕੂਲ, ਕਾਲਜ ਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ 183 ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਸਿਰਜਣਾਤਮਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਦੌਰ ਵਿਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਤੇ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਦਿਖਾਏ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਜ਼ਾਹਿਰ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਤੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਰੁਚੀਆਂ ਭਰੇ ਇਸ ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਅਹਿੰਸਾ, ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਾ ਤੇ ਅਗਵਾਹੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਣਾ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਿਰਤੀ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ । ਇਸ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਕਾਉਟਸ ਐਂਡ ਗਾਈਡਜ਼ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਦੇ ਰੇਂਜਰ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਡਾ. ਵੀਨੂੰ ਜੈਨ ਤੇ ਰੋਵਰ ਸਕਾਉਟਸ ਲੀਡਰ ਡਾ. ਰੁਪਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸ ਈਵੈਂਟ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਧ-ਚੜ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਤੇ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਾਰੂ ਸਮਾਜ ਸਿਰਜਣ ਚ ਦਿਲਚਸਪੀ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਈ-ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਈਵੈਂਟ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਰੂਪ ਚ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਰੋਹਿਤ ਸਚਦੇਵਾ ਨੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।
